Knit your own cozy dog sweater pattern using gorgeous Tosh Merino Light yarn (or Purl Soho Line Weight)

Currently the downloadable pattern includes XXS- S sizes with tummy options for both male and Female pups. I am working on adding size Medium, so let me know if this is the size you need!

This sweater is worked in the round- from tail up. Starting with a foundation of 2 x 2 rib to hold it snug around the belly and back, the cables work their way out of the rib seamlessly and wind their way up the body in a warm snuggly hug. The honeycomb at the chest and sides allows for a little stretch to help the pattern fit comfortably. I adore a long cozy turtleneck, so I always make mine 3-5” long, but feel free to adjust for your pup.

The complexity of Tosh Merino Light is gorgeous, but I wanted a chunkier look- so this sweater uses two yarns held together. The subtlety and range of color is stunning from a distance and even better close up.
